Myke Ellis the 16 bar lyricists written by C.E.O. Real.
Myke Ellis on the Rise
C.E.O. Red- So, Myke Ellis what are you up to today?
Myke Ellis- Just working on this music
C.E.O. Red- Thats whats up homie. So where ya from bruh?
Myke I’m from Columbus. Been here my whole life.
C.E.O. Red-Thats dope we need Columbus artists. So when did ya start rappin? How old were you?
Myke I was 16-17. Started watchin rap battles back when it was hot. I wanted to do it ya know. I seen Eminem and I knew that was it.
C.E.O. Red- So what about Eminem made ya wanna go this route?
Myke- Eminem’s style. The fact he studies all rappers. Have so many styles. So
diversified. Thats how I am. I study all music.
C.E.O. Red- Ok ok. So anyone ya think ya may sound like?
Myke -Everybody in the 90s. Ya listen to 90s rap n ya can hear where I originated from.
C.E.O.Red- I feel it. Anyone in ya fam do music?
Myke- Dad raps but he didn’t inspire me. He put me on the mic when I
was 2 but he never knew I rap. I kinda started late cause I had to find
my way. Ya know
C.E.O.-I understand bruh. So who would ya say is your inspiration?
Myke- I would have to say Busta was. To listen n to really start makin
music. Not jus flowin. When I seen the elephant n "put ya hands where
my eyes can see" I said "that was dope, I need to do that".
C.E.O.Red-Whose ya biggest influences to this day?
Myke- it has to be Eminem cause of his word play. Busta cause of
personality. Big Daddy Kane cause he clean n not disrespectful toward
women. Rakim cause he was always ahead of his time. N they was all
original. That’s what us rappers need to be. Original, don’t do what
others do be you. Bring something to the table no one else has.
C.E.O. Red-So you would say your original n coming wit sum new?
Myke- fo sho. I listen to all music and I’m always coming up with
concepts. I started using concepts in my tracks so it wouldn’t be off
the wall like Wayne. If there were more concept rappers, Hip hop would
be better.
C.E.O Red-I definitely feel ya on that bruh. So where was ya first time flowin?
Myke- It was a lil contest.” So ya think ya can rap.” I went in with
just a beat from my dude who had passed away. The first round I just
spit freestyle. They loved it. I advanced to the second round but lost.
So I used another cs wit snippets of other tracks. I stayed freestylin
as the beats changed. The crowed loved it, but I didn’t advance. It was
a vote type thing. Everyone else had more peeps wit em then me. It
still felt good though.
C.E.O. Red-I bet bruh. Where ya see yaself in five years homie?
Myke- In five years I want to start my publishing company. I want to
ghost write for all artists. All styles. There’s people that got the
look n the voice but no skills or lyrics. I wanna help with that.
Poetry, hip hop, R&B. I wanna do it all. I wanna have a team full of
writers.
C.E.O. Red-That sounds dope. Who would ya wanna collab wit most?
Myke- I wouldd love to collab wit Jill Scott, I love her!!! Also, Mos
def, Wu Tang, Eminem. I have to collab wit him. Cannibus like ol school
cannabis.. LL cool J,Redman, Busta for sure. I mean there’s a lot more.
I wanna collab wit em all.
C.E.O. Red-Same here bruh lol. Well we bout done here. Anything ya wanna add?
Myke- Be on the lookout for my album bout to drop called Ellis
Island, Its an intro to Myke Ellis Ya can find me on soundcloud,
youtube, facebook Myke Ellis droppin soon

The Face Behind the Blog
Heather Henry will not lose in 2014.
One to Watch in 2013
Heather Henry
founded Entity Entertainment in 2013. Already a C.O.O. of Up All Night Ent, and
WRTA on-line radio, Entity Ent became a subdivision of U.A.N.E. An M.B.A. graduate, Heather started advocating
for issues such as; the current mass levels of incarceration in the United
States. Targeting laws that felons become second class citizens of, Heather
understood the disappointment behind the lack of jobs for male felons. Heather
Henry also sits on the O.S.U. Advisory Board, is a member of MFM, United Way
and the worldwide Peace Keepers funded by Russell Simmons.
A motivational speaker, Heather
realized while dealing and visiting prisons, that a lot of our black males were
musically inclined and talented, they just needed someone to believe in them.
Humbled by the accomplishments and success from the Ban the Box project, which
applicants can no longer ask if you are a convicted felon, on applications in
certain cities, Heather feels that if people showed up in numbers at Congress,
town hall meetings and petition halls,
Afro-American’s voices could be heard. Campaigning and marching with different
churches, Heather Henry went door to door and registered over 200 males to
vote.
After working in the streets and
mentoring young males, Heather decided, after her Master’s Degree, that instead
of managing individuals at a corporate level, she would rather help the inner
city youths by building self esteem, tapping into talent, and moving the
aggressive behavior we display by music. Music touches souls and heals wounds.
If artist could pour out their souls, and put it in a form of music, Heather
believes that it would be less violence amongst each other. Heather also
believes the youth of today just wants to be heard, and given the benefit of the
doubt.
In 2013, Entity Ent was formed with
a vision of turning gangbangers, violent offenders, and artistic males and
females toward a hobby, which most times includes something in the music
industry.
As of now, Heather is the hardest
working Underground manager, writer, and Owner in Ohio. In 2013, with the help
of her business partner Dayna Foster, Heather decided to play underground music
on Dayna’s on-line radio station. “Playing underground 24/7 gives artist a
platform to see what other artist are speaking about. WRTA also is a place to
show friends, family and fans the talent they invested in.. Acknowledging all
that she has had a pleasure of meeting she would like to give these artists a
salute. Putting together a song with the right beat is not an easy task, and
it’s even harder to perform in front of guest.
A writer, motivational speaker,
manager, PR Executive and mentor, Heather Henry-Entity Ent. is on the rise. As
of now, Heather works at the Jock Boxxx Radio Show, independently manages over
30 artist, practices entertainment law, and engages in her true passion writing
by starting a magazine and being a publicist for artist and magazines such as
Next2Blow in Alabama and Spitt Magazine here in Cleveland.

Taye Tags, The Peoples Champ!!!!
Complaining gets you nowhere in this game and are truly a waste of energy that could be dedicated to other things, like growth and improvement. For example, one thing I do in my career as a hip-hop artist is to make sure I give back to the community. Evaluate your past, pray for your future, and make today as productive and enjoyable as possible
- Dante Taye Tags.
Did you see that Mustang? I love Mustang’s!! I’m going to buy me a money green one!!! A money green one would be my 1st choice, but I also love black, green, blue, and of course purple, because purple represents “the world”. With a sense of style I could definitely rock all those colors in one. Driving down Euclid on a Thursday evening listening to Sky High and Winning, Dante Taye Tags Peoples is very mature for his age. Dante was born two days before Christmas in 86, and since the age of six, Taye Tags knew he was destine for greatness especially after attending a hip hop concert featuring Kris Kross. This marked as a milestone as what he later embraced as a way of life, a culture.
Growing in East Cleveland, on Elm Ave, by
Shaw, Dante attended Euclid High School. With the help of his great parents and
grandparents, Dante, and his four siblings, 2 boys, and 2 girls, lived in a
wholesome household. Dante is proud of
his musically inclined family with his brother being a producer and his sister
finishing up in college. Raising a son, Dante is determined to set an example
by following his dreams and creating a road to success with the help of his
family and fans.
Not
running with many people, Dante grew up a loner. He believes that “you” are
everything to yourself. Wanting to learn how to play the guitar one day, he
feels he’s very unique, and diversified, painting stories with punch lines. By
switching from rapping to smooth R and B in his lyrics, Taye can keep a crowd
fully engaged. Knowing how to blend in with his culture, he finds many ways to
express himself. Like his favorite artist, Jay Z, Taye wants to stay relevant
and run the race by longevity and blending different techniques in his
delivery.
Attending
Cleveland State for Communications, Dante currently Works at, “Da Jock Boxxx
Radio Show”, as one of the host, as well as producing for the show. Formed in March 2013, the show comes on every
Thursday from 9 to 11 p.m. Co-hosting is one of Dante’s strong suit, right
along with his ability to get in front of a crowd and perform. Dante has done
over 100 shows in the Cleveland and surrounding areas, and shows no sign of
giving up anytime soon. Before blessing the stage, he blesses the mic and wears
his rosary as a good luck charm. With a strong stage presence and knowledge to
overcome any obstacle, Taye has the ability to be the next biggest artist out
of Cleveland, Ohio.
Credited with a strong personality, Dante can be seen on-line quoting inspiring quotes. Some of the quotes that grasp readers attentions are, “The rewards for those who persevere far exceed the pain that must precede the victory, “If you are doing what is right and positive but they still find reasons to hate on you just know you're en route to success, “If you believe in a cause then be loyal to those that share your belief and you will see the true strength of a shared vision, “Focus on building a team that specializes in getting things done not talking about it, and wanting to successful becomes a strong possibility that Dante will be the next hottest rapper outside of Ohio #iSupportOhio.

C.C.Marley ________________________________________ *GOIN COMMERCIAL BEFORE THE COMMERCIAL*

*GOIN COMMERCIAL BEFORE THE
COMMERCIAL*
|
C.C. Marley’s 1st
interview ever and Heather Henry was able to sit down with him
and chop it up. A lot of laughs later, a story emerged how C.C. Marley was able
to become C.E.O. of West Side Money Team, L.L.C.
Born in Cleveland, with ancestors from Maryland, Marley grew
up on Detroit Ave, a one- way street out West. Laughing, Marley explained how
he did what most children do, dumb shit. Throwing potatoes at cars, sitting in
lawn chairs trapping, getting his jaw broke and chipping and losing his two
front teeth, it was never a dull moment for Marley. Listening to locals wasn’t
his thing. Matter of fact, he would tell people he was already famous, because
of a 5 piece grill he got for fucking up his 2 front teeth.
He’s mom worked all
the time, leaving him time to do what the middle child does, slip through the
cracks. He’s father is D.J. Mark Cox, but Marley doesn’t use his father’s name
in the game, because he didn’t meet his father until 8. Marley feels that he’s
dad didn’t shape or mold him to what he is today. Smoking good since he was
thirteen, he was forced to enter a drug treatment program and drop every week.
He credits life skills classes for teaching him the
entrepreneur skills needed to run his empire. Marley made it to twelve grade,
and then entered life skills. He stopped going because they couldn’t stop
breaking into his van. His mom didn’t
know he had a car for months. He would act like he was walking to school and
hop in his car down the street. If you ask him, he will tell you he was not
banking on rapping. His thing was drag racing his corvette. After everyone
started screaming west side money team, he was given an original beat, and
forced to do a verse. He didn’t want a label, he wanted a movement, and he
didn’t want to scream one side of town, when cats could move deeper together.
After analyzing the game, Marley decided to call himself a commercial rapper.
Marley feels that he is farther ahead than most cats that have been in the game
for years. He took his time studying the game watching other people’s mistakes
and mastering his craft.
Always a leader, the hate came as soon as he started putting
out promos. Marley would get his own
camera, put in on top of his car, and shoot his own videos. You won’t catch him in a battle or freestyle
because he has to marinate on what he wants to say. His songs are calculated,
thought out, and synchronized. Always thinking ahead of the game, Marley knows
that putting out an album sinks ships faster than just flooding the streets
with singles. Why do an album, let it be hot for a minute, when you can keep
dropping singles?
At 23, mature for his age, Marley just entered the game a
year and some change ago. It took him
one time to have a bad show, with bad lighting, before he decided he would book
his own shows, bring his own equipment, and if he had to, call it his
production. After getting good feedback from people who didn’t even really
listen to rap, Marley officially entered the game in January 2012.
Mastering his craft
by studying the competition and seeing the mistakes they made, taught him how
to not do what they were doing. Some would say he’s arrogant but it’s okay with
him, because he doesn’t care what you think. Marley believes the people who work
with him are considered family, and he doesn’t want to push a gang, or side of
town, but a movement.
Luck is a dangerous word. Marley wouldn’t say that he’s
lucky, but would say that he has had some experiences that he doesn’t know how
he got out of. One time while getting robbed, a guy squirted some industrial
cleaner in his eye, which could’ve blinded him for life. One day Marley bought a cash explosion and didn’t think
anything of it. His mom found it in his car, mailed it off, he got on the show
and won eight-teen thousand dollars.
Marley seen some stuff in the courtroom. Not one to
elaborate on certain situations, Marley had situations where he was supposed to
point someone out and didn’t, he took a case to trial on mistaken identity, and
witnessed dudes who tried to get him, tell on each other. He got stereotyped on
a robbery charge for having the same amount of money in his pocket, than the
victim claimed was taken.
Having his hair dreaded for three years, smoking well every
day, and having the name Marley, C.C. gets asked all the time is he trying to
be like Bob Marley. The answer is no.
With a limited budget,
his engineer and beat maker are people he grew up with, so they show him made
love. He knew Smokehouse since he was a child, and they can chop it up for
hours making beats.
The $500 Performance
Winner, in the, “Are You Visible Contest Concert”, feels signing to a record
label is creating debt, and Marley doesn’t like to owe anyone. So he’s
contingency plan is to use rap to build an empire and take his business skills
to another level. With his budgeting growing and people seeing his potential, he
plans to use rap to expand into a bigger company.
You can catch him at an Italian restaurant, out with his
friends, at the movies, or being a good father to his children. Marley is going
to hold it down until his dude Vic gets out of jail on a murder charge.
“People who analyze games are called experts; those who
ignore the stats are called champions”. C-C Marley.
