ADDERALL, AND KUSH? DID THE MOLLY, LOUD AND LEAN REPLACE THE ALCOHOL?

We all love music. Music helps cure breakups, encourage, inspire and motivate us. We will always have music in our lives and songs in our souls. With that being said, we also have our favorite artist who produce these hits for us. Although some like Rihanna, have come out and bluntly told us that she is not a role model, we can’t stop our children and others who idolize these artists from trying to be like them.

I can remember growing up, I had my pin ups from the magazine of my favorite artist. I would read the articles about the stars and be happy that I was a part of their world. Back then we didn’t have all the modern technology, so sex still sold, but we weren’t hearing of the idiosyncrasies of the artist, because mainstream was a little more discreet. Hell Whitney was snorting under our noses as we danced to her hit “dance with somebody”.

Now with bloggers, people yelling WORLDSTAR after taping a fight and Instagram, it’s a lot harder NOT to be caught with your pants down. We know everyone’s business, just log on to T.M.Z. Now our idols, artists and everyday human beings like you and me are being monitored from when they leave the house, to when they come home. It’s a win-lose situation with artists because they need a certain amount of exposure making their lives seem appealing.

Let’s look at what’s in these drugs that our FAVORITE RAPPERS, FAVORITE RAPPER(JEZZY) IS doing. When Molly 1st came out I was like “oh” another name for X or a Skittle (Cleveland term), but my good friend had to tell me, “No sweetheart, Molly is different, as she sweated,” so I had to look up what I was rapping along to.  I came across an interesting article written by Marina Csomo(2012), from C.N.N.
To sum the article up, I felt like I wanted to be a supplier of Molly only because she basically wrote that the D.E.A.,who calls it MDM, wasn’t really worried about the drug since the deaths from Molly are so low. Unlike Ecstasy, molly is the pure, the real deal Holyfield, but are you really getting pure stuff? The DEA says Molly is supplied from Asia, Canada, even the Netherlands. Whens the last time you went to those places to see if you were getting the real thing. Do you consider a drug with Methylenedioxymethamphetamine cool? Or do you crave the bitter taste?

Again the D.E.A. says it’s a Schedule 1 controlled substance, which means it’s being studied as a possible treatment for post-traumatic stress disorder. But like all medicine or drugs comes complications like [dehydration and exhaustion, to more severe side effects such as hyperthermia, seizures, electrolyte abnormalities, cardiac episodes and comas] can occur.

And 17 states have legalized it for medical use.

I know, I know the argument is it amplifies everything, gets your serotonin, norepinephrine and dopamine up sending your brain unto a lovely word full of birds chirping. Hell it’s also better than loud cause you can’t smell it, and you don’t look like a potential crack head snorting lines off a plate passed around, with a case of crocked mouth, so why not pop a Molly?

According to the Urban Dictionary, Lean, coming from Houston, Texas, is made up OF:
-Promethazine w/Codeine VC <- Sizzurp (active ingredient)
-Original Sprite Soda <- Mixing ingredient (although different flavors of sprite are now used, such as sprite remix)
-Jolly rancher candy <- Flavor additive]
-One Styrofoam cup

This popular mixture also causes euphoric feeling BUT codeine makes you drowsy and is used in pain killers which are highly addictive.

Whew!!!!!! With all that knowledge being dropped on you, can you imagine someone who pops a Molly, drink sizzurp, smokes some loud and drink?  I’m  not pointing fingers, claiming to be perfect or trying to persuade you to sell IT or NOT DO IT, all I’m doing is telling you the hard facts and let you determine what to do with your body yourself.
Don’t shoot the messenger,
E

CAR WRAPPING GOT RAPPERS WRAPPED

If you are like Nicki Minaj or Justin Beiber you may be into car wrapping. Nicki pulled up to the scene of a K-Mart store, where her clothing line was debuted, in her 400,000 Lamborghini. Not only was she killing um with the hot rod but she killed the game even more because her Lambo was hot pink. Justin also was pulled over earlier this month wheeling his silver Fisker Karme wrapped car in Beverly Hills. Why would someone wrap their vehicle, and where did they get the idea from?
Big company names like Monster Energy, Coca-Cola, and Budweiser is credited for starting the wrapping game, by displaying driving advertisements for their brand. In 1993, Super Graphics wrapped a bus in computer-generated vinyl. The Crystal Pepsi ad became the first rolling advertising in this form.  Following suite, Volkswagen Beetles were the 1st small car vehicle to offer car wrapping.
Car wrapping is easy. It is done with vinyl and the removal process is very easy.  All is needed is a heat source, preferably a heat gun, some experience and a lot of patience. High-quality films made by Avery and 3M are designed to leave no adhesive residue when removed.  However, it is important to keep in mind that both of these brands manufacture much different vinyl where some have very strong adhesive and are not designed for vehicle wraps, so choosing the right wrap vinyl is very important.
The removal process of a vehicle wrap is also important.  The wrap needs to be heated to reach a certain degree and pulled back slowly in a 45 degree angle. If the car wrap has been on the vehicle for more than 3 years then there is a chance that the adhesion is pretty strong, and yanking the film may cause separation from the vinyl and laminate.  A car wrap without a laminate is very difficult to remove.
Also, it is very important to make sure that when the wrap is installed that you request NO Primer, There is an old school of thought that using the 3M Primer 94 on the edges is necessary to seal the vinyl to avoid separation and water getting under the film.  This is not true, if the installer takes his/her time and the necessary steps to prepare the surface, install the vinyl properly, and perform the post installation requirements, then there is absolutely no need to use a primer.
The cost can range anywhere from $1500-$3000, a small price to pay when you are winning. Also when you are done styling it can be removed so everyone and their momma won’t know the next time you want to be low key. So the next time you want to advertise your next mix tape or simply paint your car your favorite color for a couple months, try car wrapping.

Is the Music Industry Full of Gimmicks?

Who are we posing this question to? The independent rappers who come to the studio with the smell of crack on their clothes cause they had to chop and cook to serve their feening  mother  before they came? Or the depressed art student from college whom has the ability to make it but can’t express how he really feels? Or are we looking at the corporate standpoint when policies and procedures are in place and a blueprint is followed to market an artist?

Tunechi has ‘I Am Music' above his right eye. Does he deserve such credit? Prince drew slave on his check in an effort to take control of his publishing rights and revolutionize the music industry; did he have a right to do so? In an effort to create talent one has to have a passion for it. We hear stories of famous people and how they got started, like for instance, Missy Elliot’s claim of sleeping in her car and standing on the highway. But as the mainstream artist blows up and become commercialized, do they lose their talent in order to become gimmicky BY selling their souls to the devil?

Being in the music industry is a hard Molly to swallow.  Anyone can rap, it’s the tenacity, time and effort put into branding yourself that makes it work. Depressed souls sell the best R and B songs. With people like Kayne West who will come and snatch a mic out of your hand during an acceptance speech, I think it’s safe to say the Music Industry will expose you for whom you are quicker than another reality show hit from VH1. . We have watched some of our famous icons lose their lives in the industry while other become depressed and kill themselves.

Why is the blame and constant meritocracies continuously pointed at the music industry? Is it because people like Chris Donner online manifesto references to songs and artist before he took out three cops and their daughter? Or how about the teenager who got shot for listening to his favorite song loud?

Music touches your soul, and the soul is not for the weak hearted.

There’s no room for false prophets, gimmicks or other fake intentions because people will live and die for music. The Stans will come for you if you talk bad about their favorite musician. With social media becoming the modern technology for artist development, the world is constantly watching and becoming a conglomerate fire ball full of critics. Like” Hov” said “The Streets are Always Watching” and make another “Hov” has proven that “gimmicks” will not only have to kick rocks but stop themselves from suicide watch.

The industry is not some get rich quick scheme. Talent comes from hard work and dedication. Even if you handed a suburban kid a sick hook, it won’t be catchy unless he has the talent to put the feel of the hook into the song.
So with that being said: Real niggas sit in the trenches
Lame niggas try to be like real niggas, wanksters try to copy real and lame niggas
And gimmicks are exposed by real, lame and wansters niggas.
